History of the Human Experience: Neolithic

History of the Human Experience: Neolithic

Note: Box lunch included in tuition Steven Derfler Why was the New Stone Age (Neolithic) such an important transition in the human experience? We will examine why this was a major transition when early peoples changed from hunters and gatherers to herders or farmers. We will explore the fascinating area of how archaeologists piece together parts of the historical record to envision what life was like at that time. This era also marks the first use of metals, starting approximately 9,000 years ago, for “industrialization,” which transitions into the Chalcolithic (Copper-Stone Age). Join us for the journey!
