The Azure Sky in Oz

Play, Solo Performance
Based on the experiences of two real-life Floridians, "The Azure Sky in Oz," by William Leavengood, is a funny, but unflinching drama about two women whose lives are profoundly changed by their immersion in the world of the other-abled. Mary, a Special Ed teacher, defies her superiors and stars her ESE students in a production of "The Wizard of Oz" with astonishing results. Michelle, an emerging visual artist, tries to raise and care for her autistic son while fighting against the system and the fear of losing her career in the process. Carrie Drazek plays both parts.

Sex Tips for Straight Women From a Gay Man

Comedy
This romantic comedy takes the audience on a hilarious and wild ride where no topic is taboo and the insider 'tips' come straight from the source: a gay man. The play is set at a local university auditorium where the English department holds its monthly meet the authors event. Robyn is the shy and studious moderator of the event and this month's featured author is Dan Anderson of "Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man." With the help of a hunky staged assistant named Stefan, Dan aims to turn this meet the authors event upside down with a highly theatrical, audience interactive sex tip seminar. Will Stefan's muscles be used for more than moving more than heavy scenery? Will the power of Dan's tips prove too titillating for even Robyn to resist? As with everything at this event...that is for Dan to know and you to find out.

Finding Neverland: National Tour

Musical
Based on the Miramax motion picture by David Magee and the play "The Man Who Was Peter Pan" by Allan Knee, Finding Neverland follows the relationship between playwright J. M. Barrie and the family that inspired Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up, one of the most beloved stories of all time. Staged by Diane Paulus with music by U.K. pop sensation Gary Barlow (Take That) and choreography by Emmy Award-winner Mia Michaels ("So You Think You Can Dance"), this new musical explores the power of imagination to open up new worlds, and the pressures put upon those worlds by the inevitability of growing up.
